Dinosaurs: Dawn at Extinction
Hello guys!
May you be a parent, a guy or girl, you must have heard of dinosaurs.
So Marina Bay Sands Artscience Museum is holding the biggest Dinosaur exhibition in Singapore so far.
Tickets are going at $17 instead of 21$ if you purchase it from Sistic. (plus 1$ booking fee is 18$)
The exhibition ends in July I believe! Check it out!
So let our journey begin!
Outside the entrance.
This is on level 1 I believe, you must go all the way to the other end if you take the MRT but it is not that far. It is above Bath&BodyWorks if you know where it is.
When you go down the stairs.
Real fossils!
Realistic paintings done by various artists.
This will be the first room you enter
Put your hand in there and feel it. I don't know what it is either.
Hands on feeling of dinosaur skins for your children!
Education notes to learn more of the different types of dinosaurs as you walk on.
The Curator, I believe.
Very detailed dinosaurs!
Small tunnel so you can experience what it is like to be a small dinosaur.
This tunnel is scented to give off a more realistic feeling, it is nice and quiet.
A famous painting that I see on all the other viewers of the exhibition
There are a lot more to see in the exhibition! I took 2 hours to view it but at the end my legs got tired and it was 6:30pm so I rushed through the last part .
There are various activities there like Dinosaur soap making but I didn't make it so I just went home after.
There is also a souvenir shop, fossils of dinosaurs varies from 25$.
There was this 60cm(or so) glow in the dark T-Rex standing skeleton at 99$.
A Peredectoyle(spelled wrong) that can be hung on the ceiling and bounces, with it's wings flapping, it looks like it's flying!
I went to the Dinosaur exhibition at Science Centre 2 years back: Dinosaur Live!
It had a lot more viewing of dinosaurs which are more suitable for children as it is more visually captivating.
Dawn at Extinction has the skeletons structures of more of the dinosaurs and it was really an insight and educational!
Great for learning! Don't hand your children the camera, if not they won't learn from the exhibition!
Please check it out! It is super cheap and very worthwhile!
This exhibition opens from 10am-7pm daily.
Transportation : Bayfront MRT (Circle line to Marina Bay)
