Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick

Hey guys

I will be reviewing the Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick !

FIrstly, I have never used Urban Decay products beforehand so it was my virgin experience.

I thought that the color pay off was really beautiful and so pigmented.

I first got to know it through a Urban Decay Pop-up Stand at ION Orchard Singapore. They were giving out free lip makeovers and allow you to try any shade of their new Revolution Lipsticks.

First thought was that it did not have a scent and did not have a taste to it. The color was very beautiful and my boyfriend loved it as well. (I am an avid red lipstick lover and he does not like them so much. So to have a color he likes, I just had to have it.)

        Color...

The color I tried on was After Dark. It was a dark purple lipstick, it is a plum color but closer to the pink shade.

Another shade is Blackmail. It has a hint of purple-red.

One swipe was already very pigmented and it is a build-able lipstick to achieve the actual color.

I have this other lipstick that is extremely dark red but not to the point of black. It is a gorgeous lipstick by Makeup Forever. It does not smudge or transfer at all.

           Stay on power...

 ...is extremely good ! It stays on really well, even after I had barbecue food! I went out to eat, took a shower and went swimming with it (considering that I did not touch my lips) and barely any lipstick was removed. Some of the lipstick rubbed off but the colors still remained.

Gorgeous color for the fall and Halloween !
